DESCRIPTION

My Story
Prof. Wafa KHLIF is a Full Professor of Accounting and Management Control at Toulouse Business School since 2010, based in the Barcelona Campus. She holds a PhD in Management from Bordeaux IV University (France) and an MSc in Finance from IAE Bordeaux (France). She is also the President of Tunisian Accounting Association. Her research focuses on governance, board of directors’ efficiency, and accounting professions in the MEN (Middle East and North Africa) region, particularly in the tourism industry.
Prof. KHLIF has a strong background in education, program planning, professor coaching, PhD supervision, and consulting. She has served as the head of the Accounting, Auditing and Control Research Group at Toulouse Business School since 2021 and has also held the same position since January 2021. She has supervised and evaluated Master’s and PhD dissertations and research projects, and has been involved in developing innovative teaching methods using technological tools and multimedia, including remote teaching and Web 2.0. She has also organized scientific conferences and meetings and has been a knowledge content developer and coordinator.
Prior to joining Toulouse Business School, Prof. KHLIF served as an associate professor at the University of Manouba from 2003 to 2010 and as an assistant professor at ISCAE from 1997 to 2001. She has also worked as a consultant for TPAD from 2009 to 2010. During her academic career, she has been involved in the development of problems and research projects, supervision and evaluation of Master’s and PhD dissertations and research projects, innovation in teaching methods, and the organization of scientific and teaching conferences and meetings.
