My Story
Louis Boisgibault is a French higher education director, corporate director, professor, researcher, and author. He was born on June 30, 1962, in Neuilly-sur-Seine. Boisgibault earned a master’s degree in economics and management from Université Paris-Dauphine in 1984 and a MBA from HEC Paris in 1990, with an exchange program at the Wharton School. In September 2016, he successfully defended a PhD thesis at Sorbonne Université in geography. Boisgibault worked for eight years at BNP-Paribas in Paris and Amsterdam, then as an executive director and board member for energy projects at Electricité de France and Engie Group in Paris and London. In 2006, he co-founded and led VALMERE, a consulting firm specialized in energy transition. Boisgibault has published several books, including “Energy Transition in Metropolises, Rural Areas, and Deserts” and “L’énergie solaire après Fukushima, la nouvelle,” and has written numerous book chapters and conference papers. He currently works as the director of development and cooperations and a full-time faculty member at North American Private University in Sfax, Tunisia.
