My Story

Mr. Tahar Mamouni has extensive experience in the field of telecommunications and information technology. Here is a short bio based on the provided information:

Tahar Mamouni is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in network architecture, software development, and project management. He has worked for various organizations, including Orange and Orange Business Services, where he held key positions.

From May 2022 to the present, Mamouni has been serving as the Head of IT Tools Factory for Networks at Orange OINIS in Rennes, Brittany, France. In this role, he leads a team responsible for developing and maintaining a wide range of tools for operating, planning, and maintaining Orange OINIS networks and services. His responsibilities include ensuring the industrialization of applications, building and maintaining a Software Factory, and providing support for business needs.

Prior to his current position, Mamouni worked as the Head of IP Backbone Tools Development & Delivery team at Orange from October 2019 to March 2023. He was responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of tools related to the IP backbone network.

Before joining Orange, Mamouni served as the EDI Manager at Orange Business Services from January 2016 to October 2019. He managed the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) activity within OBS, including all the EDI operations.

Mamouni’s career also includes experience as an R&D Engineer at IRT B-com from April 2014 to December 2015. His focus areas during this time included network architecture, software-defined networks (SDN), virtualization, and research projects related to 5GPPP.

He has a strong background in telecommunications networks and has worked as a Telecommunication Networks Architect at Orange Labs – Research and Development from October 2011 to December 2015. He also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Furthermore, Mamouni has contributed to academia as a part-time professor at various institutions. He taught web technologies at ISEN from October 2011 to July 2014, telecommunication networks at INSA Rennes from February 2013 to February 2014, and mobile technologies and networks at ESIGETEL – EFREI Paris from September 2010 to December 2013.

Throughout his career, Mamouni has acquired skills in network architecture, SDN, team management, IT service management, software development, IT governance, system administration, DevOps, agile methodologies, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and project management.
